What These Hands Can Do, the Lunduyan ng Sining Lesbian Literary and Art Folio, will be available starting February 8, 2008! For Php250, readers can experience lesbian life and love through essays, short stories, photographs and artworks collated from some of the most talented women we have in the country.

Copies will be available at the book launch on the said date at Party A-Venue, Sct., Tuazon cor. Timog, Quezon City, 7 PM. The launch will feature explosive raffles, games, prizes, performances and a dance party. Guests can witness and experience this once-in-a-lifetime milestone in Philippine lesbian efforts for a minimal fee of Php200 inclusive of one free drink.

And here comes even better news!

We are accepting book reservations! Reserve a copy of the book (which you can claim at the launch) for only Php230 (save P20! ). You can even save some more if you avail of our Book+Launch Package for only Php380 (save P70)! To top it all off, the first 30 book orders will receive a FREE limited edition signed DVD of Sigrid Bernardo’s film Babae. Reservations are acknowledged only upon receipt of actual payment.

  Lunduyan ng Sining (Sanctuary of Art) is a group of young and active women-loving women that believes in the artistic ability and beautiful vision of lesbians. We also believe in nourishing that gift by supporting and creating a haven for lesbian art in  all forms, accomplished by initiating a series of projects to help flourish and make the lesbian voice, including lesbian issues and advocacies, be heard and acknowledged.
